Adoption Time Line for Ethiopia
- 9/23/10- REFERRAL!!!!
- 1/19/10 - We are on the waitlist!!!!!
- 1/18/10 - Dossier Complete!!!
- 1/8/10 - all documents sent to KBS Dossiers....almost on the waiting list!!!
- 1/7/10- Received our CIS approval (I-171)
- 1/5/10 - CIS received addendum to homestudy
- 12/21/09 - meeting with social worker...CIS paperwork getting fixed to send back in!
- 12/18/09 - CIS paperwork returned...paperwork needs fixing
- 12/10/09 - all items sent to KBS Dossiers except CIS paperwork. Praying the CIS paperwork would come in soon!!
- 12/8/09 - Received FBI results
- 12/3/09 - GOLD PARTY--made around $950 for the adoption!!!
- 12/1/09 - GLADNEY APPROVED!!!!!
- 11/30/09- Official homestudy sent to CIS and to KBS Dossiers
- 11/16/09 - fundraiser at Atlanta Bread Company. Made around $900 :)
- 11/9/09 - Paperwork sent off to Kate at KBS Dossiers!!!!
- 10/27/09 - Fingerprints mailed to FBI
- 10/26/09 - Fingerprints done for FBI clearance
- 10/23/09 - all remaining documents sent to Gladney!!!!
- 10/16/09 - Sent initial application and checks to KBS Dossiers
- 10/12/09 - Homestudy mailed to Gladney for review
- 10/10/09 - Third and last homestudy meeting!!
- 10/9/09 - sent in group 1 (and parts of group 2 and 3) to Gladney
- 10/2/09 - Second homestudy meeting
- 9/26/09 - Yard sale to raise money--made around $3,000--the amount of our next payment to Gladney
- 9/21/09 - First homestudy meeting and fingerprinting completed
- 9/8/09 - Initial home study papers were mailed to Memphis
- 8/28/09- Delivered I-600A to Memphis
- 8/18/09 - Phone orientation with Judy from Gladney; turned in Gladney application
- 8/17/09 - Judy from Gladney called to set up phone orientation
- 8/12/09 - contacted Gladney
- 8/11/09 - Emailed bloggers about using Gladney
- 8/10/09 - Made decision to adopt from Ethiopia
